About David Cowan:
David Cowan is a graduate of Boston University (BA in Psychology) and Tulane Law School. He started working at Parker Stanbury in March 2001. He has spent the past 18 ½ years as a provider attorney. Before joining Parker Stanbury he worked as an Immigration attorney and as in house counsel to a sports entertainment and marketing company that is now part of a company known as AEG (Staples Center, LA Live…).
During law school, he volunteered with the New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation (a company that provides legal assistance to people with limited financial means). He also co chaired an organization called the Partner’s Club International , which is a big brother/big sister program for developmentally disabled people and he coached special Olympians in swimming and track field events. When he moved back to Los Angeles, he coached a Special Olympics basketball team for 3 years. He stopped when his kids were born. Today, his children volunteer with the AYSO VIP program, working and playing with developmentally disabled athletes who love soccer as much as they do.
